Aloha! We are Pam and Gary Zeemin, the owners of Turtle Tracks. We had been visiting Maui for 25 years, and this island felt a little more like home each time. We think there must be some special Aloha Spirit that captivates people and stays with them long after they leave Maui! So after a lot of research, a little faith, and a giant garage sale we bought one-way tickets and never looked back. It was one of the scariest decisions of our lives, but it was also so exciting to know we were about to make our dream a reality.
We are originally from Oregon and retired from the insurance business. While there are so many great things about the PNW, we are pretty stoked that we traded 6 months of rain for {almost} daily sunshine! When we are not driving the Turtles and meeting tons of amazing people, you can find us walking on the beach, enjoying a cup of coffee on our lanai, playing cards, or catching up with family via FaceTime.
We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren who live on the mainland but fortunately they come to visit often.
We have always been very passionate about our involvement in the community and we try to give back and enhance our local community in any way we can. We feel incredibly lucky have met so many wonderful people in our new home, and we also consider our riders to be part of our village!
